We have to see if Rome 2 Remastered will give such an opportunity to 'control big armies' like S2TW. I don't think it is possible with the engine of M2TW. However, I can't seem to find that guide (should have bookmarked it). Re: Control up to 40 units mod Originally Posted by alhoon. The campaign mod, during the civil war it will spawn the maximun amount of armies you can have, which usually is 18 by turn 60-80.-Maintaining army is easier and so is managing your empire and everyone literally has too much gold. TitusAP1975 February 2014 edited March 2014 in General Discussion Hi Folks, I was wondering if there was a large army mod out there, i.e., one that raises the number of units in an army from 20 to 40, or whatnot. Total War: Rome 2 fans have a chance to tackle the challenges of the Peloponnesian Wars in the latest campaign DLC. Your Captain army would be led by a Cavalry, and should be mostly Ashigaru, like 1 Light Cavalry, 8 Yari Ashigaru and 7 Bow Ashigaru.Click here to set your flair! Being a favorite among the fandom, there is no shortage of extra content for the game. Let's say for the General Led Army you will go for (IMO) a General, 6 Cav, 8 Infantry, and 5 Ranged. This works to the advantage of Rome specifically, as it is one of the most diverse Total War games out there. Features include: Unlocked Factions for Grand Campaign, Imperial Augustus, Wrath of Sparta, Ceaser In Gaul, Hannibal At The Gates and Rise of the Republic Over 1500 units added across all factions Unique AOR (Area Of Recruitment) for many units Roman Army Major Overhaul Various BAI and CAI updates to give much smoother gameplay. It's all about those Army Limit, but in here there's no such thing, you can build a ton of armies all you want, until your income drops too low.Ībout you say that there's a mod that allow Older titles to have 40 units?, can you tell me, I'm interested.īut back to the point remember the saying "a Large army is disorderly" so if you want to bring more than 20 units in a campaign and have the money, build another army with Captains(Non General units/ Units who will command the army in battle), Cavalry is a good choice for Captains, but try to make it weaker than your general led armies, I once got my Captain bribed by the enemy. In Rome 2 and later Titles I guess it's cool to have 40 Units in your armies, but in this game I don't really think it's neccessary.
